Abstract

Cholera cases were reported in Myanmar which subsequently across the border to Thailand.  At the borders of Thailand, shared with neighboring countries are where illegal activities are operated; including call center scams, human trafficking and other transnational crimes. The worsening pollution crisis, characterized by hazardous PM2.5 levels, in Bangkok and surrounding areas was believed to be agricultural burning in Thailand and its neighboring countries.  These transnational crises are the urgent ASEAN issues awaiting regional solutions.
