Abstract

Osteochondromas are common benign bone tumors that rarely occur in the axial skeleton. In the solitary type or multiple osteochondromas, neurological complications such as spinal cord compression has rarely been reported. A case of 53-year-old man with an osteochondroma of T10 lamina and spinal cord compression is reported. Plain radiographs, myelography, and computed tomography were used in the preoperative assessment of the lesion. Laminectomy with decompression of neural elements is the treatment of choice for intracanicular osteochondromas.
